Keepin' F.I.T. 2018

Women’s Weekly Meet-up Run (18 and older)

Keepin’ F.I.T. is a running group for female runners! This no-cost series is designed for relatively new runners who are interested in joining other female runners for a weekly run. If you participated in the spring F.I.T. program and miss the banter during group runs, are looking to meet other running ladies in the community, or are considering running a 5K race, then this is a great opportunity to train with like-minded women on Thursday evenings. Runs will
take place at a few different locations to take advantage of the great Columbia area path network.

To learn more, please come to an introductory session on Thursday, September 6 at 6 pm at Clyde’s.  We’ll be at the pavilion overlooking the lake. You’ll meet some of the women who will serve as guides and encouragers for the runs. There will not be an organized run on this date.

The first Keepin’ F.I.T. meet-up run will be Thursday, September 13 at 6 pm at Lake Kittamaqundi. The runs will be between 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 miles with groups of runners and run/walkers doing 12:00 or slower paces.

The rest of the schedule is as follows. Please note that the location will move every few weeks so as to introduce you to the local running paths.

Sept 13, 20, 27 – Lake Kittamqundi

Oct 4, 11 – Lake Elkhorn

Oct 18, 25 – Lake Kittamaqundi to start, and then group will run to Wilde Lake

We’d love to see you at as many of these meet ups that you can get to!
