The 2004 Annapolis 10 Mile race took place on a hot, steamy morning in August on a hilly course. The slow times reflected the miserable conditions. For the first time in the 29-year history of the A10, no Howard County Strider broke the 60 minute barrier, although Jason Tripp came within seven seconds. "It was so hot I thought about jumping off the bridge into the river," said one Strider.
