Chris Chattin has been running competitively since the age of 15. Throughout high school and college he lettered in cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Once out of college, Chris decided to concentrate on the marathon and qualified for the US Olympic Trials in 1988 and 1992. A veteran of over 30 marathons, Chris has run 3 sub-2:20 marathons, 7 under 2:22, and placed 10th at the US National Championships in 1991. Although recently plagued by a series of injuries, Chris continues to be competitive on the master's racing circuit.
