Peter Keating started running at the young age of 9 with his five brothers. In high school he ran on the varsity cross country team and made it to the state championships. When he moved on to college at Drexel University, Peter competed on his own, since the school did not have a formal cross country or track program. IN 1991, he ran his first marathon, which launched his desire for long distance and marathon running. Since then he has run a total of 14 marathons. Currently, his running goals include staying competitive in the masters racing division, but more importantly staying healthy so he can continue to run with his kids.
